Your files never leave your device

All SysFenix tools process your files locally, inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers — we could not look at them even if we wanted to, because they never reach us. When you close the page, nothing remains anywhere except on your own device.

How every tool on this site works: pick a file, which is read straight off disk by the input element; decode and re-encode it with WebAssembly or canvas inside the browser tab, using your own CPU and memory; then download the result from a local blob URL. Three further steps a typical online converter needs - uploading to a server, waiting in a queue, and a server-side copy to delete later - are shown greyed out because they never happen.

What we collect

We run no analytics script of our own, and we set no cookies of our own. Our hosting provider records the ordinary request data every web request carries (the page requested, the time, an IP address, a browser user-agent string), and what we see from it is aggregate traffic: how many people opened a given tool page, not who they were. Advertising is separate, and its own section covers it.

Two different things get confused under "data", so it is worth separating them. The files, text and images you put into a tool are not collected at all, by anyone: they are read and processed by code running inside your own browser tab. Anything measured here is about page visits, and never about the contents of what you process.

What stays in your browser

Some tools remember your work between visits: notepads, planners, timers and trackers save their state in your browser's own local storage, so the page is still filled in when you come back. That data is written on your device by the page you are using, it is never sent to us, and we cannot read it. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser deletes it.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by display advertising, served through Google AdSense. The AdSense script loads on every page here, so Google receives the request data described above (including your IP address and browser information), and Google or the ad vendors it works with may set or read cookies in your browser to select ads, including personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can block or delete advertising cookies entirely in your browser's own privacy settings. Third-party vendors' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not to this one.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we do not store your files, do not require accounts and hold no account data at all, there is nothing here for us to export or erase: what exists lives in your own browser, namely the tool data in local storage described above (which only you can read) and the advertising cookies you can block or delete in your browser's settings. Data Google holds from serving ads is held by Google, so requests about it go through the ad-settings link above and Google's privacy policy.
