Terms of Service

The service

SysFenix provides free, browser-based tools for working with files, text, images, audio, video and documents. There is nothing to install, no account to create and nothing to pay.

Every tool runs as code inside your own browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed there and written back there. They are not uploaded, and we never receive, store or back them up — we could not look at them even if we wanted to, because they never reach us. That is a technical property of how the site is built, not a promise about how we behave with data we hold.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Acceptable use

You may only process files and content you have the right to use. You are responsible for complying with copyright, privacy and any other laws that apply to you and to the material you put into a tool.

Please do not:

Your content stays yours

You keep every right you already had in the files and text you process here. Using a tool grants us no licence over your content, because the arrangement that would normally require one never happens: nothing is transmitted to us.

Some tools — notepads, planners, timers and trackers — save their state in your browser's own local storage so your work is still there when you come back. That data is written on your device by the page you are using, is never sent to us, and cannot be read by us. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser deletes it.

Advertising

This site is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. That is what keeps every tool free and unmetered. Ads are served by Google and its ad partners, who may set or read cookies in your browser, and who operate under their own terms and privacy policies rather than these. The privacy policy sets out what that means in practice and how to opt out of personalised advertising.

Availability and changes to the tools

There is no uptime guarantee. Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and a tool's options and output may change as its underlying library is updated. Because the work happens on your device, results can also vary with your browser, your operating system and the amount of memory available — a large video that converts on a desktop may fail on an older phone.

Third-party software and links

The tools are built on open-source libraries that run in your browser. A few of the heavier ones — the video and audio engine, and the machine-learning models behind tools such as background removal and transcription — are downloaded from a third-party CDN the first time you use them. That download fetches program code to your device; it does not send your files anywhere.

Pages here sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Limitation of liability

Keep your originals. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SysFenix is not liable for any data loss, corruption, missed deadline, lost profit or other damage arising from use of the tools — including a conversion that produces an unusable file, or a tool that fails partway through on a large input.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the statutory rights of a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of SysFenix is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your own country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings in the courts there. Nothing in this section limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited by agreement.
